Más de 300 personas provenientes de 22 países de América Latina, Norte América, el Caribe y Europa fueron parte de la Tercera Conferencia de Directores de Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación de Instituciones de Educación Superior, Gestión de las TIC para la Investigación y la Colaboración, TICAL2013.

TICAL 2013 La actividad se llevó acabo el 8 y 9 de julio Centro de Convenciones Cartagena de Indias (CCCI), "Julio Cesar Turbay Ayala" en Colombia.

El programa contó con 14 sesiones plenarias, 30 sesiones paralelas, grupos de trabajo y mesas redondas que abordaron temas como Colaboración, Educación, Investigación, Gobernanza e Infraestructura.
