At MEPS the day you ship they’re just checking to see if anything’s changed and if anything has, you should have brought it to your recruiters attention already. And good luck at training! Some designators have a quicker ship out date than others like SWO and Pilots. IMO there’s no reason not to just sign the contract unless they’re somehow only offering you contracts that have you shipping out super fast (so not enough time to submit a DAR).
